1930s Style Depression Era Bech Set 3pc Shorts Halter Shoulder Throw 32 Bust For Sale

I had come across several pieces of vintage feedsack with the most delightful multicolored swirl marbles and just knew they needed to be made into a little shorts set. Isn’t it adorable??Slim cut, high waist shorts with a bit of fringe at the hem. They close at the side with a metal zip. A cute halter slightly wide at the shoulder to create a scoop neckline to set off the thin spaghetti straps. The top fastens in back but two 1930s pressed metal buttons adorn the front. And to top it all off a chenille shoulder wrap to keep the sun from freckling bare shoulders. A peek of the feedsack print faces the inside front and stand collar of the 32Waist 26/27Hips 37.5
This is an accurate reproduction garment. Made in the style of the era using authentic vintage fabrics, notions (metal zippers, vintage buttons and hooks unless otherwise stated) and era appropriate techniques. There’s LOTS of hand sewing on these garments. Not a serger in sight. These are not mass produced or from big brands that produce cheaply made dresses overseas. I have been making vintage reproduction clothing for over 20 years. Each garment is made by hand, by me in the kitchen of my cottage in Southern Vermont. They are meant to look and feel exactly like they would be real vintage items. I’m not trying to fool anyone, but if you didn’t tell your friends it was newly made, they wouldn’t know ;) I have occasionally seen my garments being sold in social media selling groups as authentic. I’ve had to break the news to sellers more than once.
