World War 1 Era French, Antique, Ladies Calf Skin Driving Gloves

My grandmother was from France, and she worked in a glove shop during WW1. She met my grandfather there during WW1, maybe 1917? When the war was over, Papa brought her to America and married her. This was one of the pairs of gloves she brought with her from the store she worked at. They were never worn, as they are still attached with threads from the stitching. They are made from soft calf leather, and they are in great condition! They are not dried out.

They say Gant Longuer in one of them, which means \"Glove Length\".

They say 6 1/2 in the other glove. This would be French Sizing, which is smaller than US sizing. I\'ve included a chart for figuring out French sizing. You measure around your palm in centimeters. I wear a US 6, and they are a size too small for me.

They are white, with slight yellowing from age... they are over 100 years old, a museum piece!
