Decorativehand carved Gold leaf Italian FlorentineVenetian giltwood watergilt gildedframe. Leafs flur-de-lis designs with an elaborate top and shell design at the bottom center. This is an old antique piece, with all original gilding -A rare find these days! Beautiful gilding - water gilt with reddish /brownish rub patina seen underneath the gilding in some areas. While this antique frame shows age it is in great antique condition; Also, some slight natural wear in the surface in the wood may be seen - common for early carved frames. There are no missing pieces on this frame; I am selling this frame as shown- so what you see is what you get; The sale is for one frame only.
