Antique 18th to 19th C Hand Painted Paper Fan Pearl Sticks in Gilt Frame WW319 For Sale

Probably French, judging from the composition of the small painted scenes, this is a late 18th C or early 19th C paper fan which is hand painted in watercolor and gilt on paper. The spines are gilt-embellished mother of pearl. It comes in a gilt shadowbox frame with a light blue cloth interior to better show off the fan.
The condition is excellent, restored. It has two visible breaks in the sticks which appear well repaired. There is a bit of paper separation noted on one stick (see photos). Not inspected outside frame.
