Up for sale is a magnificent piece of mid-century American workwear: a late 1950s (or early 1960s) Sears 100% Cotton Vat-Dyed Denim Chore Coat. Constructed with heavy-duty white contrast triple-needle stitching, unlined lightweight denim, and all-original brass \"SEARS\" stamped snap-rivet fasteners. The condition is excellent, the size is XL (50). The one-of-one jacket features a vintage Chinese silk calendar panel from the 1960s across the back, elevating its style to a generational street-ware fit.

• The Woven Tags: The cloth label on the chest pocket reads \"Sears / 100% Cotton / Vat Dyed Denim / Union Made / Sears, Roebuck and Co., U.S.A.\" Sears transitioned away from the Hercules brand on its workwear in the late 1950s, unifying its main line under the standard Sears name tag before introduced lines like Trade-Wear or Toughskins in the late 1960s and 1970s.
