This one is pretty special, and exactly the sort of Grateful Dead shirt I love.An original vintage Morning Dew lot tee, with that brilliant old Mountain Dew parody graphic. Simple, funny, and instantly recognisable to anyone who’s spent a bit of time around the Dead.This shirt has lived a life. It’s been worn to hundreds of shows, completely loved, and eventually passed down to me. You can feel that history in it. All those gigs, all those songs, all that wonderful energy. It’s one of those pieces that feels like it has a few stories to tell.The chocolate-brown colour has faded beautifully over the years, and the cotton is incredibly soft. Properly worn-in, with little holes, marks and distressing throughout. Nothing about it feels forced. It’s just an old shirt that’s been loved for a very long time.What I particularly love is how well the original graphic has survived. The green and red Morning Dew print is still wonderfully visible against the faded brown. Finding these old lot tees with this much character and a graphic that still looks this good is getting harder and harder.I’ve kept it in my collection because I love what it represents, but the truth is I’ll never wear it. And there’s something a bit sad about keeping a shirt with this much history tucked away in a drawer.So it’s time to pass it along to another Head who’ll appreciate it.DETAILS* Original vintage Grateful Dead lot tee
* Morning Dew / Mountain Dew parody graphic
* Gildan Heavy Cotton label
* Tagged size XL
* Beautifully faded chocolate-brown cotton
* Original-style green and red chest graphic
* Incredibly soft, worn-in feel

Please look carefully at all the photographs. I’m not trying to hide any of its history.The print remains beautifully visible, which is one of the things that makes this such a lovely example.For me, these old lot shirts are more than merchandise. They’re little pieces of the community that followed the music around, made friends, shared experiences and kept the whole thing alive.This one’s had a good run, and hopefully it’s got plenty more ahead of it.Would love to see it go to a fellow Head.Thanks for looking! 💙⚡️❤️
