Vintage Grateful Dead 1991 Jester Drums Space Tie Dye T-Shirt M/L 90s RARE/MINT For Sale

This is genuinely one of the best vintage Grateful Dead tie-dyes I’ve ever come across.The colours are absolutely unreal. The deep blues, turquoise and almost electric white running through the shirt are just beautiful. It’s one of those dyes that you could stare at for ages. Every inch of it is different, and the pattern works brilliantly with the artwork.Then there’s the print. For a design dating back to 1991, the detail is extraordinary. The colours are still incredibly vibrant, the fine lines are beautifully defined, and you can make out all the tiny details in Jester’s brilliant Drums & Space skull artwork. It’s honestly one of the cleanest examples of this design I’ve seen.The shirt itself is in lovely condition, with a beautiful natural vintage feel. It’s soft, comfortable and has that wonderful character you simply can’t recreate with a new shirt.And the size and shape are fantastic. It has a lovely relaxed vintage cut, making it a proper wearable piece rather than something that just sits in a collection.I’ve loved having this one, but I’m having a bit of a clear-out and making space for some new things. This is definitely one of the harder pieces to let go.If you’re a fellow Head, you’ll appreciate just how special this one is.
