Authentic, rare vintage Donna Karan New York statement chain belt/runway necklace from the late 1980s/early 1990s. This stunning piece features a heavy, industrial-chic design with dual rows of thick brass link chains and alternating rustic medallions (heraldic lion motif and celestial compass star design).
Condition Note: Please read carefully before purchasing. This piece has a broken connecting chain link. It is being sold AS IS for restoration, creative repurposing or parts. Price is already reflective of this.One of the fine link chains connecting the main medallions has separated. All original medallions and the main S-hook clasp are completely intact. A jeweler or someone handy with jewelry repair could re-link the existing chain.
The metal finish shows a beautiful, heavy antique brass patina with intentional dark oxidization in the recessed text. Shows normal minor vintage surface wear.
