Up for sale is a rare, authentic piece of American footwear history—a stunning pair of genuine 1970s Vintage Frye Western Cowboy Boots (Style 2329).
Crafted during Frye's golden era of domestic manufacturing, these boots feature thick, premium full-grain leather in a rich cordovan / warm brown tone that has aged beautifully. They are detailed with the iconic multi-row "Billy Stitch" decorative flame embroidery along the shaft and a classic almond/rounded western toe.
True vintage collectors will recognize the authentic hallmarks of the 1970s production era present on this exact pair: the early version white cloth label reading "FRYE Since 1863" stitched inside, the stamped "MADE IN U.S.A." lettering, and the vintage factory sequence batch number (0K0271) explicitly stamped into the leather lining.
Soles have black marker but seem never worn
Excellent vintage condition with incredible character. The leather is supple and structured, showing beautiful natural creasing, minor scuffs, and a gorgeous authentic patina consistent with age. Pull-tabs and interior labels are completely intact. Solid soles and heel caps with plenty of life left. (Please review all photos closely to evaluate exact cosmetic condition).
