Vintage 1960s Boyd’s Saint Louis Lambswool V-Neck Sweater – New Old Stock, M 42 For Sale

Outstanding vintage men’s V-neck sweater from Boyd’s Saint Louis, dating to approximately the 1960s.

This is a particularly nice survivor in a rich mustard / golden ochre color with classic Ivy League / collegiate styling. The sweater retains its original paper hang tags and appears to have seen little to no wear.

The original label identifies the sweater as:

• Boyd’s – Saint Louis
• Size XL
• 95% Lambswool / 5% Nylon
• Made in British Crown Colony Hong Kong
• Original machine-washable care tag still attached

The small original hangtag notes that nylon was added to the lambswool to help reduce shrinkage and pilling and increase wear.
