Overall good pre-owned condition with minimal signs of wear. A couple of scratches on the lenses(see pictures).
A highly sought-after pair of vintage Nike wrap sunglasses from the late 1990s.
Design & Innovation: Released around 1997, the series was designed by the renowned IDEO design studio. They featured Nike's unique "Flying Lens" construction, which detached the lens edges from the main upper frame to maximize airflow and minimize fogging during high-intensity sports.
The Oakley Controversy: These sunglasses hold a unique place in eyewear history. In the early 2000s, Oakley sued Nike for allegedly infringing on their specialized optics technology. Oakley won the dispute, which caused Nike to drastically cut production.
Rarity & Value: Due to the limited production run and their unique Gorpcore/Y2K aesthetic, they are highly collectible today.
