Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic 1990s blank matching Sweat / Track set from Russell Athletic's premium, heavyweight "High Cotton" line. Made in the USA!!!!!
Regarding the tag information:The bottom lines are faint but they identify the factory origin:RUSSELL CORP.ALEXANDER CITY, AL 35010 (This is the historic headquarters and manufacturing plant location for Russell Athletic in Alabama, confirming its vintage Made in USA heritage).
Both pieces are finished in a timeless heather grey colorway, featuring the iconic heavyweight premium fleece blend (95% Cotton / 12% Polyester / 1% Rayon) that gives this era its iconic structure and comfort. Two pockets on the cardigan and two pockets on the pants.
Excellent vintage condition with beautiful structural weight remaining. No major stains, rips, or holes. Note on bottoms: The very bottom ankle hems originally featured cinch ties/drawstrings which are no longer present (open-bottom straight leg style remains perfectly functional, see photos for close-up detail).
