Made in England, produced once, and never repeated. This is the New Balance 1500 “Surplus Pack” from the brand’s 110th Anniversary MiUK collection, built at the Flimby factory from leftover premium leather and suede and capped at 1,906 pairs. Every pair carries its own number, and this one is #259.

Why this one is hard to find

Only 1,906 pairs were made, spread across every size and every region. This is a size 12.
It’s numbered. The hang tag shows #259 of 1906, so your pair can’t be mistaken for any other.
It was a one-time release from 2016. New Balance has not remade this pack.
Surplus materials mean each pair is cut from leftover stock, which gives the mismatched earthy look collectors love.
It’s complete. After ten years, most pairs of this shoe have been worn, lost their box, or had the tags cut off. This one still has the original box, the hang tags attached, and the spare laces.
