Custom Astronaut Space Helmet Prop White Metal Base Ring Light-Up Cosplay For Sale

Up for sale/sale is a unique, full-scale Astronaut Space Helmet Costume Prop. This custom-built piece captures an authentic vintage space exploration aesthetic, heavily inspired by early NASA Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) designs. It features an incredibly solid construction compared to standard cheap plastic retail costumes.
Perfect for premium Halloween costumes, high-end cosplay, sci-fi film props, or as a standalone shelf display piece for space or vintage gear collectors!
Key Technical Details & Construction:
• True Metal Base Ring: Unlike cheap plastic replicas, the lower red neck cuff/base ring is constructed from solid metal, giving the helmet a premium weight and an authentic mechanical connection look.
• Main Shell: Built from a rigid, durable white plastic that holds its form beautifully.
• Padded Interior: Lined with a comfortable blue quilted fabric. It fits adult heads very comfortably for extended wear.
• Dark Tinted Visor: Features a large, curved bubble visor that cleanly hides the wearer\'s face under normal lighting conditions while preserving visibility.
Dual-Function Lighting Feature:
The helmet is equipped with two side-mounted lamps wrapped in protective fabric covers. Both fixtures are functional but intentionally utilize two different light styles to maximize utility:
1. Left Side Light: Features a specialized diffuser filter to cast a wide, soft flood of ambient light.
2. Right Side Light: Functions as a focused spotlight for sharp, direct forward illumination.
Condition Details:This helmet is pre-owned and shows minimal exterior cosmetic wear from handling. Structurally, the visor and main plastic shell are completely intact.Interior note: There is a small, minor rip in the inner blue cloth lining (visible under close inspection of the interior neck entry, but it does not affect comfort, wearability, or exterior appearance). Lights have been fully tested and are functional. Please review the high-resolution photographs to evaluate the exact condition before purchasing.Note: This is a novelty costume prop/replica garment and does not provide actual life support, impact protection, or vehicle safety features.Shipping & Handling:
This item will be packed with extra care using heavy bubble wrap padding to protect the visor and secure the metal base ring during transit.
