Antique 1910-1920s Art Deco French cut-steel microbeaded Flapper Purse in Exceptional Condition, with Looped Fringe, in Gunmetal Pewter and accented with a row of Deep Blue beads along the handle and top band.
Features a short, integrated beaded strap and beautifully preserved beaded fringe along both sides of the top and along the bottom hem. All loops are intact with NO missing beads or loose strings. The metal beads capture and reflect light with a brilliant luster unique to historic steel-cut hardware.
Very Clean Lining with a two snap closure. There is a minor separation along one side of the lining, but could easily be repaired. (Selling as is) I did not find any identification of the maker inside.
Exterior is clean with the beadwork tight and structurally sound. I can only find 1-2 missing beads along the edge of the beaded handle. (See Enlarged photo)
Overall length is 16 inches, Width 6 1/4 inches.
A beautiful example of women\'s vintage attire in Remarkable Antique Condition.
