The Full Story
Formed in Rugby, Warwickshire in 1982 by Peter Kember and Jason Pierce, Spacemen 3 became pioneers of the neo-psychedelia and space rock movements. This authentic long-sleeve tee references their seminal era around the late 1980s and early 1990s with the 'Set Me Free / I Got the Key' motif and the iconic pyramid logo on the chest.
Screen printed on a heavyweight Gear for Sports blank with a high ribbed collar, it captures the raw aesthetic of the UK indie scene before the band fractured into Spiritualized and Spectrum. Original period merchandise from Spacemen 3 was produced in exceptionally limited numbers compared to mainstream acts, making surviving vintage examples extraordinarily difficult to locate.
