Vintage 50s early 60s Styled Wiggle Dress.Solid Construction with some issues. For Sale

This is a late 50s or early 60s styled wiggle dress. It has no label. Could be handmade but it has sturdy solid construction. The fabric has a sturdy body to it almost like furniture fabric.There is light blue sheen to the base of the fabric with matte wiggle designs as a contrast.The skirt portion has a lining of unidentified synthetic fabric. Dimensions are 16 inches from armpit to armpit. 13 inch waist.15 to 16 inch hips. 43 inches from top to bottom.The zipper is broken and there is fading to the armpit areas. There is also a slight brownish stain to the mermaid skirt portion of the dress but is concealed in the pleats.There is also slight wear to the right strap on the edge. (See photos). Would make a great makeover project maybe adding a lace layover on the upper bodice or as a costume for a period stage production as the flaws wouldn\'t show on stage.
