Vintage 1987 Pee-wee\'s Playhouse Season 2 Crew Shirt Personalized Camera Dept For Sale

This is a very unusual piece of Pee-wee\'s Playhouse production history.

This shirt was made specifically for the crew during Season 2 of Pee-wee\'s Playhouse. According to the original crew provenance, Pee-wee himself referred to the crew as the “Pee-wee\'s Playboys” and had these shirts made for the crew.

Each crew member\'s shirt was personalized with their nickname and department.

This particular shirt belonged to my husband, whose crew nickname was “FIRM YOUNG DAVE.” His department was CAMERA DEPT.

The front is embroidered with:

“MA-GA-HAI”
“FIRM YOUNG DAVE”
“CAMERA DEPT.”

The back is embroidered:

“PEE-WEE\'S PLAYBOYS”
with a Pee-wee character portrait.

“MA-GA-HAI” was my husband\'s personal nickname and is Cantonese slang for MF.

Condition: Really good vintage condition for its age. No stains noted, no missing buttons, and the embroidery remains intact. Please examine all photographs carefully.
