A vintage Reed Krakoff satchel in a knockout shade of orange. Pebbled leather, roomy proportions, chrome hardware, and that signature R-logo luggage tag still attached. This was from Reed\'s eponymous line (2010-2015), before he moved to Tiffany & Co. and then Warby Parker. His bags are well-constructed and luxe-adjacent.
This one has a clean architectural shape: a 13\" wide base, 12\" tall, 7\" deep. The top-handle drop is 5\"; the removable crossbody strap adjusts from 21\" to 22\" for shoulder or crossbody carry. Interior is black cotton twill with one zip pocket and two slip pockets. There\'s also a leather ID patch stitched inside with contrast stitching (see photos).
Condition notes:
- Corners and bottom show moderate wear (rubbed and slightly compressed).
- One small spot on the exterior where the rubber seam paint has cracked (visible in detail photos).
- A few light spots inside the lining; nothing dramatic.
- I gave the leather a full reconditioning treatment with Saphir Macadamia Lotion and cleaned the interior with Saphir Omni-Nettoyant. The super-soft leather now feels supple and nourished rather than dry.
This bag wears its miles with character. The color is still vibrant, the structure is intact, and the hardware is bright. Reed Krakoff bags at original retail ran $800-$1,500; this one\'s priced to find a new owner who\'ll actually use it.
