Estimated circa late 1960s–1970s based on styling, collar design and original packaging. Exact production date is unknown. Individualized Shirts was established in 1961.
Vintage group of 3 custom-made men’s dress shirts by Individualized Shirts, retained in their original plastic packaging.
These were made as a personalized custom order and feature the initials “DWS” embroidered on the cuff. The original shirt box is also handwritten “DWS” and contains period order notes describing shirt colors, monogram colors and tailoring details.
Also included is the original “Custom Made Shirtings / Accessories” packet with the maker’s laundering/shrinkage instructions.
The shirts appear to be unused new-old-stock and have not been unfolded or removed from their packaging. I have intentionally left them as found to preserve their originality.
The original order notes appear to contain tailoring measurements, but I cannot guarantee the exact wearable size. One folded packaged shirt measures approximately 14½\" long × 8½–9\" wide. Please note that these are folded-package measurements and are not pit-to-pit clothing measurements.
