Despite negative reviews regarding reliability of light to operate, this one operates normally, each time my wife and I used it. Would have preferred a push-button on/off switch to the turn-the-lens-housing-to-turn-on-and-off style that the Mini Maglite uses, but that is our opinion. Very bright beam, nice construction and product appearance, especially the blue color (my wife's favorite!).
