This is a beautifully made piece - gilt brass - hinged and mobile and on a lovely hardwood base with brass feet

I think this is a reproduction of an 18th century orrery - there are only six planets

It is made by Van Cort Instrument Makers - fine manufacturers

The wood base measures 10 by 4 inches (25.5 by 10 cm)

The height is 3 3/4 inches ( 9.5 cm)

And every thing moves and expands to 26".
