Highly unusual vintage Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson port/wine bottle stopper.

Nelson was born in 1758 and died at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 which secured his position as one of Britain\'s most heroic Maritime figures. The significance of the victory and his death led to his famous signal \"England expects that every man will do his duty\".

The Nelson figure measures 3 inches tall and the original cork (not plastic) stopper below is 1 inch and is in tact and perfectly usable. Hand finished with fine gilt detailed uniform decoration.
