Antique Gamewell Fire Alarm Telegraph Station House Bell w/Key Blake Bell Co For Sale

This is an antique Gamewell fire house alarm bell. The bell is cased in its original wooden (pine?) case with the Gamewell Fire Alarm Telegraph New York brass tag on the front. The case is 16\" tall x 9 1/2\" wide at the top and 4 1/4\" deep. The mainspring on the clockwork mechanism is broken, although everything else appears to be in working condition. The original key for winding up the bell is present, but the key for the door is missing. The brass bell has Blake Bell Co, Boston Mass on the inside. The finish on the case shows wear with expected dents and scratches, but it still displays well.Shipping within the continental US will be $15.00.
