This sale is for a hard-to-find early 1800s Georgian or Regency table top easel frame, including the original glass. The large table top, easel back frame is in very good condition, considering its age. It will need a good polish with a brass cleaner, or if you prefer to keep the original patina, leave it as is. A picture is inserted by opening the frame by removing the entire brass back (I did not open it, but assume it is in good working order!). The frame is plain brass with no ornamentation, as is common in this period. The original glass is intact. The easel on the back is very unusual in its mechanics, as you can see from the pictures. There is an area of rust on the back that will need some extra work to remove, but it has not corroded the frame back at all. This unusual and old frame measures approximately 9 inches high and 7 inches wide and 3/8 inch deep.
